Eyeglass lenses

We also provide the latest lens options to ensure you experience comfortable, clear vision, whether you are working in front of a computer, driving, looking at your mobile device, watching television, or engaged in other daily activities. Our optical team will consult with you about your job, hobbies, and lifestyle, to ensure we recommend the right lens options for your visual needs.

  • Does your job require a lot of time in front of a computer?
  • Do you get tired eyes, blurry vision, and even headaches when focusing for too long?
  • Do your daily activities demand constant changes in focusing close and seeing in the distance?
  • Tired of moving your head a ton in your progressives when using your two computer monitors at work?
  • Do you play golf or other sports where clearer distance vision can improve your performance?
  • Are you constantly spending time outdoors, or constantly going in and out?

We offer many premium lens options. Our team will discuss your lifestyle and prescription with you to recommend the right lens options for your visual needs and lifestyle.

Here are a few of our lens options:

Transitions

Transition lenses, or photochromic lenses, are a type of eyeglass lens that undergo darkening upon exposure to UV light. These lenses turn into a darker tint when exposed to UV rays and return to an almost clear state when there is no longer any UV exposure.

Media lenses

All of us are spending more time than ever on digital devices.

If your job requires you to sit in front of a computer all day, getting the right lenses for your eyewear is crucial to avoid developing symptoms of digital eye strain which can include headaches, neck and shoulder pain, eye fatigue, and other uncomfortable symptoms.

Occupational lenses

These lenses can be created to optimize your functional vision in your work environment. They are a perfect complement to your progressive lenses or can serve as an upgrade if you currently use reading glasses.

Enhanced single vision lenses

Between computers, tablets, and smartphones, we need help from our glasses more than ever before. All that screen time can be hard on your eyes and may cause digital eye strain. Enhanced single vision lenses are more than just ordinary glasses; they provide sharper vision than ordinary single vision lenses and are available to everyone—whether you have a prescription or just want a pair of computer glasses. These lenses can be customized with a blue light blocking filter and/or accommodative relief. This creates a more optimized visual environment, helping to prevent or reduce digital eye strain.

Anti-reflective coatings

Apart from selecting the appropriate lens type, there are additional choices available to improve your visual experience. A popular option is to apply an anti-reflective coating to the lenses to reduce glare and eyestrain from computer screens and overhead lighting.

Adding an anti-reflective coating to your lenses provides several great benefits:

  • It will improve the clarity of your vision by decreasing the distortion of light as it travels through the lens.
  • When you choose a blue light blocker anti-reflective coating for your lenses, you can even decrease your risk for macular degeneration and delay the onset of cataracts.
  • Adding scratch resistance and UV protection to your anti-reflective coated lenses will also make the lenses much easier to clean.
