Medical eye health exams are billed through your medical insurance, and are focused on evaluating medical concerns.  If you are visiting our office to have your glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, or even your dry eye evaluated your visit will be a medical eye health exam.  These exams begin similar to a routine examination with the technician beginning the exam with various entering tests.  Some tests will be tailored to the medical issue.

Dr. Seidman will review all the results with you.  You and Dr. Seidman will develop a personalized treatment plan.  Dr. Seidman will provide you any referrals needed for further testing and treatment with specialists.  At this visit your glasses prescription will not be determined.  Medical eye health exams may be done more frequently than once a year.
